Fundraising Banquet

Thank you to the many volunteers, donors, staff, and guests who made our first ever Fundraising Banquet a success! The food was amazing, the program was inspiring, and many people left with great silent auction items. Also, over $16,000 was raised toward our new Activity Centre.

Timberline Ranch began forty-nine years ago when two friends, Chuck Leng and Don Lawrie, had a dream. They wanted to provide a place for the 'city' kids of Vancouver to come enjoy the great outdoors in a friendly camp environment. Since the humble beginnings in 1961, there are now over 6,000 children and families from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver that come here and have an amazing camp experience each year. Not surprisingly, many of these same children return as young adults and become volunteers and summer staff for Timberline.

This banquet was one of various opportunities for you to help support this unique but aging camp facility. The support from our faithful friends and future new friends will help make it possible for us to build a much needed Activity Centre at the Ranch.
