Employment and Volunteering
We are always looking for a few more good people! Timberline is a training ground for leaders, and though we certainly have some of the best staff and volunteers anywhere, we are always looking for more people to join the team, become part of our community, and use their abilities, talents, and passions to serve God in our diverse ministry.
To apply for any position, please complete the 2008 Staff Application and three 2008 Reference forms. These may be sent to Kim, our Interim Program Manager. Here are some of the opportunities currently available:
Program Manager
Timberline Ranch is now accepting applications for the position of Program Manager. The person in this position is responsible for the operation of the camp program throughout the entire year, including all activities, events, retreats, and camps. This includes planning, staffing, and ensuring the safety and excellence of all programs occurring at Timberline Ranch.
We are hoping that the successful applicant will work with our current Program Manager for the spring and summer and then take over the position in the fall. We are looking for a mature Christian servant to join our wonderful team in reaching children and families for Jesus in a camp setting. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and hard-working and have a call of God to do this kind of work.
If you are interested, please take a look at the Program Manager Job Description. Please be aware the duties may be adapted somewhat to the abilities of the successful applicant.
To be considered for this position, please email a cover letter and resume to the Executive Director, Craig Douglas.
Volunteers
We need people of all ages (16 and older) to come alongside us in this ministry and get involved with as much or as little time that they can offer. We have retired men and women who come and serve by hosting, repairing things, helping out in the kitchen, or cleaning. We also have younger people who volunteer for a week or more of the summer to help out with counseling, kitchen work, wrangling, maintenance, and so on. Whether you have a summer to give, a week, a weekend, or a day or two mid-week, if you have a heart to serve God, we can probably find a place for you to serve with us.
